Ushangi Khumarashvili
Ushangi Khumarashvili studied at the Tbilisi State Academy of Arts, Faculty of Fine Arts, from 1967 to 1973, after which he worked at the Telavi Drama Theater. He has been participating in exhibitions since the 1970s. His first personal exhibition was held in 1994 at the National Picture Gallery.
In addition to personal exhibitions, he is a participant in many group exhibitions and international biennials. Among them were: Exhibition of Theater and Cinema Artists (Tbilisi, Moscow. 1979), International Exhibition-Symposium (Sochi. 1994), Biennial of Contemporary Art (Tbilisi. 1996), International Biennial “Shadow” (Tbilisi. 1996), Exhibition at the “N” Gallery (Tbilisi. 1998), Exhibition “Meeting with Pirosmani” with Contemporary German Artists at the Tbilisi History Museum (2006), International Biennial (Ganja, Azerbaijan. 2006).
