Gia Gugushvili
Georgian artist Gia Gugushvili is a representative of the 1980s generation. His work is characterized by neo-figurative, naïve and abstract expressionist styles.


About artist
Exhibitions of Gugushvili’s work have been held since 1978. His paintings are held in the National Museum of Georgia, the Doge Museum in the United States, several galleries in Moscow, and private collections around the world.
Gugushvili has received two international awards. He won first prize at the Emaar International Symposium in Dubai in 2007, and second prize at the International Exhibition in Osaka in 1987.
Gugushvili is a respected artist whose work has been exhibited and collected around the world. His paintings are known for their bold colors, expressive brushwork, and figurative compositions.
